PATTERN AND INSTRUCTIONS: The Landis Bodice
Added 2021-11-01 15:21:20 +0000 UTCHappy release day, Charm Scouts! I’m so thrilled to present the Landis Bodice, a dreamy building block for making all sorts of gorgeous dresses, gowns, and rompers. With an extra curvy sweetheart neckline, princess panels, an optional basque waist, and two strap options, this design will have you feeling like a princess. Choose from the shoulder band or the strapless band (or you could even omit the bands entirely for a sleek look). The Landis Bodice is incredibly versatile; dress it up in a nice dupioni for a holiday soirée, or pick a cotton novelty print for dapper-meets-casual look. The choice is yours!
And the best part? This bodice coordinates perfectly with the Charm Circle Skirt, Lamour and Liz skirts, and the Loretta shorts, so the possibilities are endless! I can't wait to see your fabulous takes on the design. You'll learn some advanced techniques with this project, but it's nothing you can't handle –– you can follow along with our full length video instructions if you get lost. I'll share my tips and tricks for a structured, boned bodice, and some embellishment techniques too!

You'll also find the tiled file (for printing at home on A4 or letter size sheets and taping together) and the A0 file (for printing at a copy shop like pdfplotting.com). Please note that we now have two size blocks, so make sure to download the correct files for the size you're making.
