So I got My Quote for reboarding my film room.
Added 2022-02-18 12:45:22 +0000 UTCWith sound proofing and they want to charge £1750.
It's not that huge of a room and I got my hall stairs and landing plastered for £700 with standard boards though so sound boards must be so much more expensive. I'm going get some more quotes I think

I hope you get someone that does the soundproofing right! I used to watch Construction-type TV shows and soundproofing is notoriously difficult. You can spend all that money and still not get the results you want.

I don't want to add sponge to My walls because it will ruin the plaster if I ever take them off or if we ever move it might bring down the value of the house because not everyone wants a wall like that 🤣.
