So sorry to hear you have concerns with YouTube Jodie. Somehow this doesn't surprise me in the slightest if your suspicions are correct. Social media on the whole is frustrating. I am having bad experiences with Twitter at the moment so I full understand your viewpoint. The problem is no one in the support threads ever seem to take notice or help out when you raise legitimate concerns about how the algorithm is going against your content.

Aaaaaannnnddddd this is why I join Patreon/channel memberships. The YouTube algorithm is so important. Maybe you should mention in one of your videos that your subs should ring the notification bell if they rely solely on the home feed for your content.

This month and las6 month I've had the problem with a few videos. If you change the days of uploads it messes with your algorithm. I've done it before when I wasn't able to upload on the usual days

Interesting.... I was talking to Jodie about this. I don't see her videos when they go public on my home feed but I think it's because I watch them during "early access". I'm not sure though. Your home feed will show you videos you recently watched but it should also show you recent published videos from creators that you watch the most. So that's what I'm worried about; that YouTube isn't showing her new videos to the people that watch her videos.

Yeah and I'm grateful for that but it's never that bad. I would say it if I hadn't looked into and seen the problem over time

ASMR channels get this a lot, fortunately patreon is a thing so when youtube fucks you over you can have some fall back net, sucks that it's happening to you.

Last time you said something similar on twitter the other you ended up getting record views didn't you and I am sure that was a Sunday night as well ha ha I don't think youtube analytics are real time, they update in batches and also I don't think for your demographic Sunday releases are when people first watch the videos (see the last one you mentioned on twitter) Your the best AMSR girl on youtube by a mile the video views will catch up to normal during the week

its weird, usually i get your new videos right away on my home page. but the most recent i seen was from 3 days ago. maybe theres an extra delay getting added by youtube ?
