Concerns about 'Sustainablity'
Added 2019-02-12 23:12:26 +0000 UTCWhy I haven't experienced any detrimental setbacks that people are reporting from Patreon's numerous oopsies, I am getting worried about what COULD happen. So I'm going to think about changing around my format. Trying out different platforms as a safety net.
Comics and commissions have been super successful when I do get them out, but in this time where I barely have time to work on them due to school, Patreon has been a really good source and helped me actually get through school (And I thank you so much for that ♥)
I have no plans of making any less content than I have already provided. I just need to figure out where I'm going to source said content. Maybe I might release some stuff for purchase directly or something. I'm not sure.
Again as of now, my page is still in the green, but I do want to take a few more eggs out of the basket before things potentially get worse. If anyone has suggestions of potential solutions, let me know!

You could try one of those "your pics on a coffee mug or t-shirt" places. Maybe offer up sticker packs or your designs all over a notebook. It might be useful to spread some of your revenue streams. Trouble is you have to push the merch a bit. It could potentially eat into your current projects, but I think the fans of your comics would probably be into other stuff you make with your characters. It all comes down to time/energy. If you don't have to buy your own merch, then package and mail it out, it could be a decent income stream with low time cost. Obviously the more you do on your own the more profit you'll make.

Patreon will kill it self and owners of Patreon will go broke, so I seriously doubt. Well I try, nothing as patreon far as I know... To little people on different sites but go tray and tale us your experiences
