; 7 ; I had this sketched out and didn't have the ability to sketch yesterday but wanted to be productive, so I finished it. T 7 T

This is a gift for my beautiful wife because she's been subtly saying 'Imagine Black Haru spanking Yuki' for the longest time. < 7 < So I did.

T 7 T Honestly, the Fruits Basket Reboot has been a LOT better than I initially anticipated. The art style has grown on me, but certain things are still taking some getting used to, like... Haru having brown eyes, or them referring to him as "Dark and Light" Haru, I definitely prefer Black and White, since he's a... Cow. T 7 T;

But the last two episodes have had my heart in a vice grip. ; 7 ; I bet I wasn't going to cry during Momiji's story because his new voice isn't one I'm entirely fond of, but... T 7 T I did, I cried. I used to hate Momiji so much when I was younger, but in our last watchthrough of the original back in October, I was like you know... he's really not so bad. (He's also going to be the target of my next Fruits Basket piece. T 7 T)

ANYWAY.

Haru and Yuki have always been such a softspot for us, and it's even easier to enjoy them together in this newer anime. ; 7 ; I may even redraw Shigure and Kyou in the new Fruits Basket style.

(My only legitimate complaint about the new series at this point... is the music. T 7 T The original FB music was so iconic... and that recent intro was very... strange. Other than that, I'm really enjoying watching it with my wife. ; 7 ; It's been a whole journey anD HARU T 7 T I'm just not looking forward to the forced, manipulative romance between he and Rin. (and the doubly forced relationship of Yuki and Machi) We've come to learn we much prefer Rin with Kagura... They make an adorable pair.)

But the last episode sincerely broke my heart with both Momiji and Kyou and......... tHE NEXT EPISODE IS GONNA BE AMAZING FRIDAY PLEASE COME SOONER. T 7 7 7 T
