; v ; I use a Wacom Bamboo fun tablet! It's an older model that my wife bought for me 9 years ago, it's just perfect for me! And I use Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop 7.0 for effects, and I got both programs for free thanks to friends! ; v ; I give it to you, I can't do photo manipulation at all, it's just something I've never been good at.

I always work only with my mouse :D but I make most times just edits/photo montages, less drawing :D And I don't know your tool :O Did you tested Affinity? Its cheaper as Photoshop but offers nearby ALL features from photoshop, its lifetime, not a subscription, I think under 50$. and you can import any .psd (photoshop project file). to get more brushes etc ;) I just use gimp because... its good enough for my image manipulation :D
