Added 2024-09-29 02:09:13 +0000 UTCI've been asked to paint genderfuckery Crowley in the style of John Singer Sargent.
...which is both exciting and intimidating. I'm a massive fan of Sargent's work. I've had the good fortune to see a great many of his oil paintings in person, and it always flabbers my gast. Look at these fabrics. Look at that skin. Look at their expressions! I've always felt like many of Sargent's subjects look like they know something the viewer doesn't, and its delightful.
