On the continent of Valon, people had grown accustomed to hearing the voice of God—and even seeing the words appear before them. Some claimed they had deciphered the [Status Screen], but none had been able to prove it. Though the kingdoms and empires had made some progress through research, much remained unknown. After all, the language and writing of the [Status Screen] were unlike any known tongue.
Kana, a girl from the village of Saltrain, had been like everyone else—except for one thing: she always wanted to beat the boys. But no matter how hard she tried, she never had much luck; boys were simply stronger. That was, until the day she understood the voice and text of God.
They were, quite simply… in English.
