Added 2025-04-14 15:00:59 +0000 UTCHello again, I just wanted to make a quick post to express my gratitude to all of you for your understanding and patience. During the initial days following my trip to the ER, I was really worried about how things would shake out because I knew that there was no way I could balance everything with quitting the job, building my backlog, and continuing to post as normal while following the doctor's orders to cut down on the stress.
I genuinely thought the Patreon was going to fall apart because of the few weeks that I took, and that caused a lot of anxiety since it's now my lone source of income. But, you guys have been very understanding and overall just great. So, thank you very much and I'm very happy to get back to the grind, now once more a free man as I have resigned from my job.
While my backlog hasn't recovered as much as I would have liked it to, I'm hoping that with my new free time I can start pulling ahead without needing to take another week or two off. So, for the next couple of weeks, Best of Intentions and A Golden Path will continue as they have until I have the backlog necessary to give each their four advanced chapters that my other stories do.

Set limits. Make sure you have time to decompress, exercise, slow down and enjoy nature. You are alive, but your body just sent you a warning shot. You can't act like a young man anymore. You need to schedule your eight hours of rest and your leisure time or you might just die amigo. Take care of yourself, we can wait

So make sure to monitor work/life stuff closely, since you've basically switched over from Automatic to Manual on your life.
