Why Dottie intentionally dropped the ball. 1. At beginning she tells older grandson to go easy. Then tell younger grandkid to "kill him". 2. In the montage Dottie gets trucked and holds on to the ball. 3. In the end she tells Kit she wanted it more. Dottie understood how important it was.
