Good points! I do like that the Multistrada valve adjustment is every ~37,000 miles though vs the r1250gs's 12,000 miles.

If you end up riding Palomar or something, you're welcome to take my '22 Multi v4s out! Currently sitting at about 5400 miles on it, so well broken in. Engine guards and skid plate from SW Motech, hand guard protector's from Evotech, and I have the comfort/touring seat on there as well. Oh and higher windscreen for my height. Hit me up and let me know in the future if you're down to take it for a day, I'm in OC but like to ride down that way frequently.

Other advantages ofthe GS over the Multistrada could include that it is not water cooled (so no radiator). Valve adjustment is way easier on the BMW. Foot peg height is lower on the BMW. There is also a bigger dealer network over Ducati.
