Porsche GT3 RS (992) '22 - RR - 800PP - Racing Soft Tires - All Track - 1.62

5 STARS CAR SETUP *****

Rims size 20" 21" - Rim Width St - Offset St

This is an updated 1.55 setup, since the current car no longer shows the Carbon Propeller Shaft. It used to be available before , I really don’t know why it isn’t anymore.

The old 1.55 setup was fine, but I completely revisited it. The performance is the same and the handling is almost unchanged, just achieved in a different way. It’s a very good setup for any track , I’ve tested it from Spa to Daytona Road, as well as Suzuka and Laguna Seca.

This update has truly transformed the car into a 5-star machine (*), making it an absolute joy to drive hard and fast.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°

I just realized this car has push button drs. I’ve only ever seen that on F1 style cars

It’s fine for me — you just need to preset the “Top Speed Auto” to 410 km/h (255 mph) first. Then you’ll see the 1st gear ratio window drop to a minimum of 2.336. After that, you can set 1st gear at 2.400.

Hey Praiano! Thanks for your awesome tunes. For some reason on this one, when i try to match your trans settings mine bottoms out at around 2.6 instead of 2.4 like yours, do you know why that might be?>

1.62 tune is 🔥

Two things... 1. It's time to change your oil. 2. It's been a lot of fun to compare the 992 NA vs the 991 FI RS's. So far, I lapped Suzuka for the 992 NA at 1:56.775 and the 991 FI at 156.895. Both were achieved after 5 laps of practice but it shows how close they are matched.

I just noticed if you add 2kg to ballast and swap the output adjustment and power restriction around to output = 99 and restrictor = 90 , you shave about .20 seconds off the 0-400m and 0-1000m times . It equals out to 692 hp and 373 tq . Not much difference as it’s -8 hp and +14 tq compared to your setup but any reduced acceleration time adds up . Would have to test with lap times to see if it makes a difference or not .

Man, this car is a proper weapon now. Beat the Lambo’s ass fair and square. Jumped up in my personal 800pp leaderboard from 9th to 1st. Mind blown 🤯

Strange that the swap don't work the same as this one. I'll check. STI '04 on the way.

I copied the pre 1.55 tune you had and applied it to the new swap. It RIPS. But, i am no tuner and at spa i was only able to barely dial out the persistent understeer. The tail gets happy at maxed settings over 1000hp tho lol. I'm pretty sure that's why it was acting up. I'll pop this tune on both my 992s: stock engine and new swap to see how it behaves. Thanks mr P! I'll report back if it helps anyone else. Might save ya some $$$ if the swap isn't really worth it, we'll see tho. **********OH! The StI 2004 swap would be awesome to get a tune for. THat has some serious potential i think.

Finally, this car reclaimed its 5 star rating

Michael

I'll test it but the suspension must be the same.

Laurent Bouis

great setup, could you look at the swap as well?

Nick

Yes, I couldn’t find any solution with the available settings. I’ll try a different approach soon.

Laurent Bouis

This car has rear tire bounce with this setup , have you tried recently. Watch the replays

Love this car even more. Best 911 in my opinion

Charlotte

Hi Praiano, can i use it on 800pp SPA 1h event?
