This car suffers from a major chassis and suspension issue. It generates excessive rotation and unpredictable grip variation when pushed to the limit, especially around the four corners. The rear end becomes unstable and erratic, making the car almost undrivable at times. The sensation is unpleasant—you cannot focus on maintaining speed or clean racing lines, but instead must fight just to keep the car on the track. As a result, overall performance drops by nearly 50% simply to complete a lap consistently. Very frustrating indeed.
There are two possible solutions to mitigate this problem:
Front ballast – Adding weight to the front can neutralize the balance. However, this comes at a cost: reducing traction at the rear. Since this is a powerful, torquey car, the lighter rear end makes throttle management tricky and can compromise acceleration.
Mixed tire compounds – Equipping the front with one grade harder tires is often the better option. This helps stabilize the front–rear balance without sacrificing rear traction and stability under acceleration.
With the second setup, the car becomes much more manageable. You can drive it aggressively, and it feels safe even when racing in close packs. Performance is still only “good” compared to the very best 700PP cars, but it works well in monotype events—especially when matched against maxed-out VW 1200 builds.
Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°
