Specifically for Bathurst, medium tires are faster and safer in the corners and compensate for the harder compound in terms of lap time.It’s a very safe car, but take care downhill through the chicanes. Stay on the racing line with precise steering inputs and be gentle on the brakes. Flowing driving pays off more than aggressive driving there.It’s also a very capable car on the Nordschleife.

There is about a half a second in the first half of my lap still out there and, I think if I shorten the gearbox a hair that I can get another half second down Dottinger. Given that this car did not break 160 down Dottinger, should give you some indication of how good it is in the bends. Got curious and took this to Bathurst last night. Easy win in the 600PP on hard. Got curiouser and tried on the 700PP event. The MC20 made a late run to make it look good, but won by 2.5 seconds with this 600PP car. Next up, the Ring.
