Initially, I thought this wasn’t the best PP range for this car, but I was wrong. I use ballast for the 800PP tune on this 700PP car because it’s an expensive model. You can achieve this weight by avoiding the weight reduction options. It’s not the fastest car in terms of top speed, but its handling and grip are exceptional. It outperforms the Porsche 911 '16 at Spa, achieving around 2:17.3xx in my hands, which is my benchmark for 5 stars when other criteria are met. I also love the cockpit view.

Enjoy your drive. ><((((((((°>°°°°°°°°°°°

To understand the greatness of this tune, we have to go back a few years. When this car debuted in GT (GT4, I believe. Could have been 5), it was eye candy only. Like the Veyron and the Viper ACR when they debuted, it was little more than a drag car in game. It may have been the fastest stock car in the game back then. Only one very glaring problem: It did not turn. Period. I can remember fighting this beast for hours before finally giving up and resigning myself to accept its untapped potential. Flash forward to GT7 and this tune. Not sure what percentage is PD corrections and and what percentage is Maestro's skilled hands, but his car, for me, is easily the best drive at the Ring at 700PP. While not my fastest lap (6:45.3 v. 6:42.5 in the 86 GrB Rally car), it was undoubtedly the most fun because the car does what you expect it to do at every sector. Even without aero, the front end grip is fierce. The car rotates smoothly (no snap oversteer or understeer) allowing for a quicker transition to throttle after apex. I had zero issues with rear end slide. Braking is solid, never leaving you overcooked. Gear ratios may be the most spot on set, even for AT, that I have used. Every corner you are coming out at high RPM ready to upshift. I'd like to be able to say that car is helpful when you have to correct, but the fact is, I never had to correct. If you haven't tried this car and tune @ 700PP, do yourself a favor and try it. Maestro has taken this car from a big engine that behaved like a pig in the corners to one of the finest driving experiences at 700PP I had had the pleasure of enjoying.

Excellent. I added the high lift cam, bumped the ballast to 200, and substituted the fully customizable gearbox. This gave me 516hp. Thanks.

Have to buy a new engine. Same price as new car but you need the invite to purchase another. I happened to have a second stock car so I set it up for 700.

So, how do I get to this tune if I have all the engine mods done for the 800pp version? Can you uninstall engine mods somewhere?

Nicko

This is probably my favorite Ferrari and have a 800 pp tune makes it that much more versatile.
