Nissan GT-R NISMO '17 - 4WD - 800PP - Racing Soft Tires - Nordschleife - 1.59

5 STARS CAR SETUP *****

Wide body

Rims 20" - Rim Width Wide - Offset Wide

Front A - Side St - Rear A - Wing A

This is my fastest 800PP road car on the Nordschleife, lapping at 5:57 in my hands. It matches the pace of the Nissan R34 and Lamborghini Aventador LP 750, but with slightly more grip. The car has an excellent driving line and remains steady in any situation.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

I've tested identical tuning settings on the engine-swapped version with excellent results. Currently experimenting with increased downforce configuration: 983 HP 3,245 lb curb weight 316 front / 480 rear downforce Full setup details to be published soon.

Laurent Bouis

Would these settings work just as well on the Chiron swap?

David

In this game, powerful road car engines consume fuel twice as fast as racing engines. This is one of the most frustrating and illogical aspects of GT7.

Laurent Bouis

Any ideas why I run out of gas 3/4 the way of lap 1 at the ring during 800 (3 lap) endurance race?

Wes Atchison

Most racing cars or road cars with swap engines using racing engines can complete Sardegna with just 1 stop. However, some road cars using soft compounds will still require 2 stops, even if their fuel lasts for 1 stop. In my opinion, 2 stops can be a good option since it keeps you closer to the pack. If you search "Sardegna" in the search window, you’ll find a list of all cars tuned for this event.

Laurent Bouis

Hi -- Do you have some suggestions for performant road cars that have good fuel efficiency? Might be worth even making a collection, would be valuable information to be able to find some non race cars that can handle enduro races with 2 or less stops. I'm mostly looking for cars in the same range as the F40 with the enzo swap. That one can do sargedna in 2 stops, which is plenty to easily take first. Just kind of tired of using race cars, but don't have the $$ to buy everything to figure out what isn't a thirsty boy :)

You can use this car on any other grip/speed circuit. I usually mention Nordschleife because the gearbox is specifically tuned for that track. If needed for a slower track like Tsukuba, you don’t have to rebuild the entire gearbox. Simply adjust the FINAL GEAR setting: Higher final gear = shorter gearbox. Lower final gear = longer gearbox. For Le Mans, for example, I would reduce front aero , less front grip , decrease drag and lower the PP. This would allow me to add more power to reach the maximum PP permitted.

Laurent Bouis

Hi - new member here quick question, when you say "Nordschleife" you mean this tune is specifically tuned for this circuit and shouldn't be used on other circuits?

TONA RITCHIE

Yea kept same engine

TONA RITCHIE

It match 100% for me here. Perhaps you're using the wrong engine ? This one is the original , not the SWAP Chiron engine.... ?

Laurent Bouis

The gears don’t set up it’s at 839pp

TONA RITCHIE

Praiano, you’ve turned the Nordschleife into your personal playground again! A 5:57 with such grace and grip—truly the Nürburgring whisperer at work.

Reformed

Definitely a super fast tune! Took me a little while to get used to the understeer and the gearing, but was ultimately able to turn a 6:05 on the 'Ring. But 5:57!! Wow!

Jeff Morris

This is now officially my fastest 800pp by nearly a second. 🤯

Shockthealien

Better than the lambo? Can’t wait to try this! 😱

Shockthealien

Wow, just reading this post on my break from work. I can't wait to get this car out on the track and test it out!

Jeff Morris

You came through in a flash! Thank you, Maistro!

Acegamer

Amazing tune, this car is a real pleasure to drive. Thanks a million.👌
