4 STARS CAR SETUP ****

This is a fast car with great top speed and grip, but it’s not ideal for Le Mans due to high fuel consumption. However, you can use the same setup with the SWAP HR-414E-NSX (Honda NSX GT500 '16) engine, which has much lower fuel consumption, making it perfect for Le Mans.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

The NSX engine is less peaky, but its power curve is nearly identical to the original. Power delivery is still focused at high RPMs. Keep in mind that my "All Track" gearbox settings are not specific. You can adjust the final gear to suit any track. You may also need to fine-tune certain gears for specific turns on the track to optimize corner entry or exit, for example. Optimal RPM can provide more front grip when entering a turn or better traction when exiting a corner.

Nice tune, do you happen to have the gear ratios for the HR-414E-NSX swap? Seems to have a lot less power compared to the LS7.

Nick

Thank you for the detailed track test.

UPDATE: I've run nearly 50 laps over the past 3 days with this car and have stalled at 6:45. Reducing rear damper helped with the no-steer condition by it still happens. It's unpredictability means judicious braking in every corner and zero throttle (even modulated) until after apex. Moving on from this one but I hope whatever it is in the physics that changed in 1.59 gets put back for controller payers. Otherwise, there are going to be cars in this game that are just unplayable for us. I have switched over to 700PP tunes as I have reached the point in the 600PP collection where most are from 1.56. Many are the same, but I am ill equipped to know the best way to modify the ones that are high or low on PP now that we are up to 1.59. This will also likely be a bit of running story for the first few as I adjust to the increased speed, braking, and cornering characteristics of 700PP. This car is VERY fast. It still has power to burn even with the ratios set as Maestro has them. I was banging off the limiter between Tiergarten and Hohenrain (~203mph). Car has very good grip except when it doesn't. As another poster has noted, it seems since 1.59 (at least with a controller) cars are more sensitive to weight transfer on hard braking ESPECIALLY were there is also elevation change. This results in the car going straight on even though there are obvious signs of steering input onscreen. It is not understeer (it's "nosteer") and there is no "squeal" from the front tires. It is almost as if, in that moment, the front wheels are not even on the ground. That said, the rear end is obedient unless you are very sloppy with your inputs. Braking distances are a bit tricky as this car cannot use racing pads. On the whole, a great experience. I am still running laps though because my 6:46 flat is not clean by any stretch. I think I can be in the 6:30s somewhere once I clean my lap up. The learning curve with a more powerful car around the Ring has been steep for me (or maybe my old man reflexes just suck.).
