Super Formula SF23 / Honda '23 - MR - 950PP - Racing Soft Tires - Suzuka - 1.58

5 STARS CAR SETUP *****

Special Suzuka Tune – Maxed with Racing Soft Tires

If you're experiencing traction issues or wheel spin out of slow corners, try setting Traction Control to 1.

I’m currently lapping at 1:34.5xx , a safe and stable setup where I’ve prioritized grip for Suzuka. The best ghost I’ve seen is around 1:33.4xx, using a slightly faster car. I could match that pace by adjusting the downforce to 1350 / 1600, but I’m just not skilled enough to consistently follow that ideal driving line.

Aliens are aliens , I’m just an old fast GT player. 😄
Still, I’m happy with this setup. It’s an incredible car to drive and stays fast and consistent lap after lap, making it perfect for competitive online racing.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°

Both the Suzuka and Bathurst tunes can be used on the Nordschleife. The Bathurst setup carries a bit more top speed, so it might be the better option for the Nordschleife.

Do you have a SF23 Nordschleife/overall tune? Or which one of your track specific ones do you think translates the best to other tracks?

Clay Smith

I don't have any for the moment for the '19 model , they are racing the same events normally and i prefer the '23 . I'll check soon.

Laurent Bouis

What adjustments would you make for the sf19? (These setups are amazing btw)

Matt Desouza

Thank you! Appreciate you!

I think the manufacturer flavour (Toyota/Honda) is interchangeable, but the year ('19/'23) is not, although there's not a huge difference. The factory '23 has more HP but less max torque and is slightly heavier, but there's less than 2PP difference. There's a Bathurst 1.58 here for the '23 Honda which should work on the '23 Toyota as well, so try that one. The factory setting sheets for all 4 cars are identical. EDIT: Sorry, I went the wrong way. You could always lower the ECU or add ballast to the '19.

Thank, Maestro! I have the other version of this (19? I'm not at the PS)... Is this setup usable for it?
