Honda Civic Typer R (EK) '97 - FF - 600PP - Sport Medium Tires - Tokyo - SWAP - 1.58

4 STARS CAR SETUP ****

Engine SWAP: K24A-Civic

Wide Body
Rims "18 - Rim width Wide - Offset Wide
Front B - Rear B - Wing Standard

This car is extremely fast on the Tokyo event, lapping consistently between 2:02 and 2:03 in my hands.

The main issue is wheel spin in 1st and 2nd gear. I use Traction Control at 1 to manage this. Thankfully, the 3rd gear is long enough, so you can drive through most bends in 3rd without losing traction or compromising your line.

While the performance is clearly worthy of a 5-star rating, the handling isn’t refined enough to justify it. That’s why I’m giving it a solid 4 stars—still excellent, but not perfect.

One fuel stop is needed at lap 6.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°

In my opinion, it's not a good idea in this game. FF cars need a power limit due to wheel spin, which makes them horrible to drive when you can't maintain a decent driving line because of this annoying behavior. I really don't like these cars above this limit.

Have you tried any of the engine swapped civics for 700pp? I've rarely seen anyone using them but one time I did and he was flying can't remember what one it was though, just think it's a rarer car to see online now

This car is also suitable for various other tracks. Its medium tires provide superior grip compared to the sport hard setups commonly used for Tokyo.

I meant will civic beat them

I don't know if this makes a difference but the Civic '98 Swap Engine is a K20C1-Civic-'20 not a K24A-Civic which goes in the Civic '97

Ben Mann

Does this work for the 98 swap as well seeing as they are essentially the same chassis?

V8Hilux

With traction and throttle control , you can do 1 stop.

Nice tune despite the ff wheel spin in 2nd gear. I needed 2 pitstops for fuel and tyres but still got a clear win. Thanks @praiano63.
