Just a small 1.58 update to the 1.55 setup—someone mentioned there was a bit of understeer in certain situations, especially in fast corners. I’ve made a slight adjustment, and in my opinion, it’s now an even better car.
I created a completely different setup for this car. Ballast didn’t work well, and I initially thought it was a suspension issue. It was, but adjusting the ride height solved the problem. The car now has less power but a lighter weight, which improves braking distance and grip. I also added higher front downforce to compensate for the minor rear ballast.
The result is a car that’s slightly faster than my reference, the 911 '16, on SPA, and it laps Nordschleife at 6:32. While it’s just short of the 6:30 benchmark needed for a 5-star rating, it comes very close. Perfect for LE Mans too due to the GT3 engine.
The handling is fantastic, with superior grip, and I’m thrilled to have found a way to elevate this wonderful car to a higher level. The cockpit view is excellent, making it an absolute joy to drive. It’s now a fantastic car to race with!
