Jaguar F-type R '14 - FR - 600PP - Sport Medium Tires - Nordschleife - 1.58

5 STARS CAR SETUP *****

Wide body

Rims 20" - Rim Width Wide - Offset Wide

Front A - Side B - Rear A - Wing Custom

This is a top 600PP car on Nordschleife, clocking a 7:05 lap time—one of the best for a car with its original engine. Be sure to install the exact engine parts for this setup due to a PP bug; hitting this precise PP is essential.

The car is very stable with perfect balance and superior grip. Excellent precision at the wheel makes it a real pleasure to drive.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°°

Any news on this one Maestro? Sad not to be able to use the best car in class

Shockthealien

Yes , i'll update the PP , easy task , at least we still have the same physics .

Laurent Bouis

1.60 nerfs this car. New PP is 608. To get back down to 600, costs me almost 3 seconds/lap on the ring.

Adam Salerno

UPDATE: This beast eats that alien GTAm for breakfast. I had him down to 4 seconds in one lap. If not for Quiddelbacher to Adenaur, I could have passed him sooner. In the end, I cleared him by 10 seconds. FYI, I took a peak at his dash down Dottinger on lap 1: 208mph. WTF? LOVE. THIS. CAR. I've used variants at Spa and at Tokyo, so I was excited to see what it could do round the Ring. It did not disappoint in any way. This car has no weakness in my mind. The only possible quibble is slight understeer on throttle, but given the low end torque of this car, it is hardly surprising and easily controlled. Front end grip is fantastic. Braking is outstanding. Despite that torque the rear end is very obedient. Speed to burn, both in a straight line and in the bends. At elevations changes that would completely unsettle other cars requiring focus on throttle control and steering inputs, this car is incredibly forgiving. throw in its complete lack of fear of curbing, and it almost feels like you can throw it around with abandon. Brass tacks: my fastest previous lap in a 600PP car was the 1964 Carrera @ 7:21 and change. This car did a bit better...7:17.6. At least half of that comes down Dottinger where this car hits 178 before the chicane leading to the last 2 turns.

Adam Salerno

Excellent. Thanks.

Mr.M

Nice tune for the Nordschleife. Loads of fun to drive. Thanks!

Jim C

Coming tomorrow morning , together with 700PP

Laurent Bouis

Nice tune! Would a Tokyo version work @Priaono?

Michael Roper

Just thought id share the update. A fresh car did the trick. It looks like the PP bug doesn’t work if you have purchased the parts even if you are not using them

Shockthealien

I have the level 5 weight reduction this car. With this tune it comes to 400 HP and about 100 less on the weight. I will test it tonight. You are right, it is very buggy- one click on weight/power can make the PP jump by 10 points.

John Overstreet

I can’t get this to match your build. I’ve checked the sheet many times and it’s completely the same yet I’m 12.76 hp too high. Going to try with a fresh car rather than reusing the 700pp one and disabling parts and see if that does the trick

Shockthealien

Normally you just have to set harder springs. I'll publish a 700PP soon.

Laurent Bouis

So, P, i have not really had a huge use for beasts of cars like this, with tons of potential, shackled in performance by the terrible tires. I know, it's probably fun. But If i wanted to make this car wear some racing softs or mediums-i don't care about the PP, i just want it to be fun and maxed out power- What would i do besides adjusting the differential values and perhaps adding a little weight if needed?

Josh

Tokyo car coming tomorrow early in the morning. It's just a perfect drive.

Laurent Bouis

Wow, you got it feeling tight and responsive like an actual GT4 car. I was instantly able to get used to the car.

Aj Camacho

I'll publish the Tokyo setup soon , also a 700PP that works very well .

Laurent Bouis

What should I set it too?

Jonathan Davis

Yes , using Sport Hard / longer gearbox and + power

Laurent Bouis

Is it good for Tokyo as well??

Jonathan Davis
