A strong performer at 700PP, though I’m not sure what the point of this engine swap is. It’s a great engine, but fuel consumption is high. Be mindful of the high RPM kick—it can cause wheel spin, especially during transitions.
The car has excellent balance, grip, and top speed, with a great engine sound in cockpit view. It matches the pace of the top road cars at this level, but it falls short of a 5-star rating due to rear-end instability caused by wheel spin at high RPM. I tried various adjustments but couldn’t fully eliminate this issue. It’s not a major problem if you’re aware of it, but pushing too hard in the wrong moment could lead to surprises.

2025-03-28 20:07:06 +0000 UTCAmazingly, the m3/4 only ways marginally more than the m2. You wouldbt think it to look at them, would you. This is the f80/82 v f87. Not sure about gxx... I have m3 f80 comp for 4 or so years now. Absolutely love it. I test drove m5 f90, and you can definitely feel the 2 tonne plus weight in that :) Obviously very quick, but weight size makes sense/perception of speed less than the m3 imo. Just feels 'big' imo :D For 100k + car, I came away slightly underwhelmed, if young honest. Perfect car for doing 200mph on autobahn. Not so much for uk roads imo.
