Porsche 911 Turbo (930) '81 - RR - 650PP - Sport Soft Tires - Porsche cup events - 1.56

5 STARS CAR SETUP *****

Wide car

Rims size "16 - Width wide - Offset wide

Front A - Side St - Rear St - Wing A

The most beautiful of the 911 in my opinion.

Perfect RR car, excelent balance and sensation at the wheel, very fast, easy to drive for this kind of car, even on wet . I can use it during hours.

A ew faster than the Porsche GT3 RS (992) '22 - RR - 650PP - Sport Medium Tires - All Track - 1.55 but a very few less grip. On SPA the '22 is hald second faster.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

Comments

I said nothing. It’s okay!

Nicky

I have a problem with this one. I can’t buy the turbocharger high rpm?

Nicky

Agreed with comments below. The 1.58 is spectacular. I just picked it up last week from the used car dealer so I could make this tune. Enjoying every second of it.

CustomX

True. I'm in love with this car too.

Laurent Bouis

This tune is maybe your masterpiece, this car is perfect... top 3 favorites for me and perfect for porsche cups

Guthrie

That was the problem. I thought I had selected standard rear, but had not. So weird, but resolved. Thank you for straightening me out here.

Drew Coulter

Custom parts : Rear part must be Standard.

Laurent Bouis

I am a bit confused with this build. As you have the front downforce showing as 8 and I cannot get the front downforce to go below 50 no matter what front type I use. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Drew Coulter

Thanks. They were 5 stars at 700PP, and would like to see their performance at other PPs.

Michael

I can add both on my list. I have the 997 at 800PP and the 993 at 650 and 700PP.

Laurent Bouis

I remember in the previous version, there are 5 star tunes for 997 with M97/80-911 Swap and 993 RS CS, are these 2 in also the list? thanks

Michael

Corkscrew at Laguna Seca – Setup Tips The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca almost requires a specific setup, though not necessarily due to any recent update. If you’re having issues there, try increasing the spring values to better contain mass transfer through the corner. Since it’s a flat track without high kerbs, you can also consider raising the ride height until it feels stable for you.

Laurent Bouis

Does this one need tweaking for 1.54? I was noticing some weird glitching at full lock or tight bends like the corkscrew in laguna seca. Probably wheels rubbing the arches?

Shockthealien

Very nice set up ...so far 2nd in the Porsche cup @ Barcelona

Ryan Gould

I try others ways to contain the car but it's killing it .

Laurent Bouis

So i did a quick test and i didn't find any problem , out of the fact that this is a real RR car with a real RR behaviors. You'll have problems with the rear end if you brake hard late , giving too much wheel angle. EDIT SORRY: - Don't brake late , apply a strong pression on brakes when inline . - Then release brake pedal softly giving angle to wheel till apex. This is the only way to drive fast any real RR car. Most are asthesized , Not this one , but it's still stay controlable and fast if not overdrived. Good luck.

Laurent Bouis

Nothing wrong. Some tracks have special point revealing some weird behaviors. I'll check it on Maggiore and if i can find a way. Back soon.

Laurent Bouis

I was so looking forward to this one but sadly it doesnt work for me at all. Oversteers massively, specially on hard braking (turn after 5 at the end of the straight of Lake Maggiore is blowing my brains. I can’t do that turn any more). I even tried increasing TC but doesnt solve the issue. Would it be my driving style? I need to go over the settings again cos it feels like I’ve done something wrong

Shockthealien

Drives very well, great tune @praiano63!

Michael Roper

Just perfect, Thanks.

Mr.M

yes.

Laurent Bouis

Will this still be performant if I don’t add the Weight reduction stage 1 to keep the previous 600pp tune for same car?

JCHammer

If you have the $$$ sure. I'm going to publish the 3 Golden Oldies (Jaguar, Ford and Ferrari)this week end. They'll be around 690PP using my personnal BOP. They also are very performant setted at 700PP.

Laurent Bouis

Good morning Mr. Praiano, now in the legendary cars there is the Ferrari 330 P4' 67, is it worth buying? Are you planning to do a setup on this car? Thanks and have a nice day

Capelan52

Oh yes , you're right , i'll add right now.

Laurent Bouis

No need , 0 front downforce. If i remember well , you can low the spoiler downforce value to 0 also. Up to you.

Laurent Bouis

Fantastic. Love this one. My childhood poster car

Shockthealien

Cheers mate. Need to add spoiler a from custom parts to complete build:)

B80

A welcome return and glad to see that you rate it!
