Ferrari 250 GTO '62 - FR - 600PP - Sport Medium Tires - Nordschleife - 1.56

5 STARS CAR SETUP *****

Wide Body

Rims "19 - Rim width Wide - Offset Wide

Rear Wing : Custom

This car is very fast on the Nordschleife or any other track, and it’s easy to drive. It’s perfectly matched in pace against the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé '64, making it a great competitor.

To improve handling, I’ve added some few rear ballast to reduce wheel spin and enhance front-end grip and precision. This adjustment has made a noticeable difference in stability, especially in tighter corners.

One crucial thing to note: don’t lower the ride height too much. Doing so can cause issues with the tires or rims rubbing against the front fenders, which can make the car undrivable. Keeping the ride height in check ensures smooth performance and prevents handling problems.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

UPDATE: 7:22.2, but there is a ton of time left out there. I need to take a creak and come back at this fresh another day. I know this car can be fast. At least as fast as the '64 Carerra. However, I am fighting an issue that will not let me get a clean lap. This car (and a few others since 1.59) suffers from sudden, inexplicable loss of front grip. And when I say "inexplicable," I mean like heavy breaking at the bottom of the hill at Bergwerk, all the weight is forward on those front tires and the car goes straight like it is on ice even with the wheel cranked all the way right. To my way of thinking, a car like this, with only mechanical grip, gets its best shot at front grip under heavy compression pressing the front tires into the road. And yet, this car (and others since 1.59) behaves like a high down force car in a slow speed corner. And this is not the front tires breaking loose. There is no squeal and it is not understeer (even what I would call snap understeer). It is normal turn in, car goes straight, add steering input, no change, desperation braking, and finally the car bites again. There are other places on the track where I would expect this sort of thing with no front aero (cresting a hill with an apex directly in the center of the crest), and yet there, this car behaves normally for a car in that situation. Thoughts?

Yes , PP glitch are really anoying. Coming now the 911 (993) '95 at 650PP.

I've worked out why I couldn't get my numbers to match. There seems to be some sort of glitch with the aero settings. I needed to reduce the rear wing aero to minimum, back out and use the triangle button to re-measure the PP then I could go back in and put the correct aero in and the PP now matches Praiano's with 19" rims width wide offset wide. I had the same problem with the 650pp 911 (930) tune so it's not just limited to this car.

Yes it's right. Rims "19 - Rim width Wide - Offset Wide . Other Rims size15/16/17/18 are around 602 PP

I've checked this about a dozen times and mine comes in at 602.76pp. Is it definitely wide body and rims wide offset wide?

Finally I bought this car today. Have not done all the modifications, no wide body, no engine mods, and left off the wing. Everything else I have done. Car is 576.52pp, perfect at Goodwood, the rear is still loose when I want it to be, great fun. Thanks!

Ok Aston Martin One was a very good car before update , i'll check it soon.

Night and day compared to the stock car, this is very nice to drive, stable under braking, a little bit of understeer on acceleration but at least no oversteer, this is really a 5 star setup, amazing job, again!

Another fun tune, I couldn’t quite understand this car for some reason. But another car I would love to see you tackle is the Aston one 77 reminds me of the f12 in some ways
