A top-tier 600PP car on Nordschleife, consistently lapping around 7:03 in my hands.
This excellent old race car feels well-balanced after adding a lot of rear ballast. The ballast improves front-end eagerness and grip while also helping to control rear wheel spin by better loading the rear tires.
It’s now an easy and fast car—just be mindful not to overdrive it too much.Check your braking points—the brakes are a bit weaker compared to modern cars. Be sure to brake earlier to stay in control, especially on fast tracks.

UPDATE: I cleaned up Adenaur and set a 7:21.1, fastest lap for a car that isn't the F-Type. A very interesting drive. I used my Carrera (7:21) lap as the ghost. The Daytona is just as fast, if not faster, than the Porsche in the twisty bits. In fact, as I headed toward Dottinger, I had a 1 second lead on the Porsche ghost. Unfortunately, the Daytona does not have quite the top speed the Porsche does and the ghost caught and passed me @ Tiergarten. Still a very good 7:22.5. If I can clean up my off track at Adenauer, this car and tune would be every bit as fast as the Porsche. As Maestro noted, you do need to watch you braking distances and that supercharger will punish you if you aren't judicious with throttle inputs, especially when trying to correct an already bad situation. Front end grip is excellent though, better than the Porsche I think.

2025-06-15 20:31:37 +0000 UTCI’ll need to create a completely different setup. At 700PP, adding ballast drops PP, so it’s not really viable. I’ll take a closer look and adjust accordingly.
