Avoid SWAP Engine on This Car
I don’t recommend the engine swap for this car. While the setup and handling remain the same, the 2JZ-GTE Supra swap at the same PP level has some downsides:
Heavier and 70 HP less than the stock engine.
Higher fuel consumption, making it unsuitable for the Le Mans 700PP event.
I also prefer the original engine sound.
That said, the handling is excellent—very precise and grippy, making it a great choice for Nordschleife or any technical track. Performance is strong, but it’s just below the absolute top cars in this class.

This build can beat this race on HARD. Comfortably. Just nail the breaking zones and you should be doing low 1:48s in no time. Taking the chicane right gets you ~3s alone compared to the HARD AI. They are bad at the Glen. At 9 minutes sharp this car owns the event. Absolute gem! Thanks PR!

2025-09-08 16:55:46 +0000 UTCI just used this tune for the Watkins Glen special event. I didn't win (3rd), but it was enjoyable. The AI got faster as the race went on! Love these old cars. I guess 1988 is old now... haha.
