4 STARS CAR SETUP ****

Wide Body

Excellent car, lapping 6:30 on Nordschleife in my hands. It’s very stable and grippy, with good top speed. There’s a bit of understeer, but it’s easily manageable.

A great choice for the Le Mans event, capable of 3 laps in Fuel Mode 4, with lap times under 4 minutes.

One important note: pay attention to the engine's mid-power range. The maximum power peaks at 6700 RPM, so shifting around 7500 RPM is crucial. Setting your car to reach this max horsepower at the optimal moment on the track can make a significant difference.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

Great car for this week’s rally. Really helped my (usually terrible) drifting. So precise!

David

Rear part Standard. No diffuser.😉

Seems like this build is now 715pp :(

There is no physics difference between 1.50 and 1.54. The balance of the grip is a compromise. There is still a lot of room to increase the front downforce to set the car the way you prefer. You'll have to sacrifice some HP to stay in the 700PP . 👍👌

Just went and tried out this 700pp version. It's a great tune but for me it has lots of understeer both on entry and mid corner. Is that due to some difference between 1.50 and 1.54, or is it just the way this tune is supposed to be?

Jeff Morris

It can do 9 laps at FM1. Perhaps at FM3 it's possible to do the 12 laps. I'll publish it soon , it's almost ok.

How can i make this car 600 for Tokyo? Is it possible? Someone else said that the car can do it without pitting

Yuki

This is exactly my thought about this car on Tokyo. With no rear diffuser, 200kg at position 10 for balance, a High RPM turbo, and hard tires, the car drives very well. It does exhibit some weird behavior under braking, but with the right wheel angle and a bit of practice, it’s manageable. My car has Stage 4 weight reduction, yet it’s still slow on the straights, lapping around 2:09 in the first couple of laps. I’ll wait for a new car when one becomes available—I’m not in a rush, and I don’t want to spend 2,000,000 credits on a new body. With the right weight and more power, I think this car can perform much better while still maintaining its excellent grip in the bends.

Little bit of a story on this one. Started playing with the car and my own set up for Tokyo. I went the route of more powah. Decent result with a win and clean race bonus, but getting this car around Tokyo was a little like wrestling a greased pig. Loaded up this tune and it tipped my thoughts about this car on its head. The car has enough stock power says maestro, it needs less weight, a dose of downforce, and a splash of suspension tweaking. Applied the tune, adjusted the gearing, and took it down to 599.97. Magical at Tokyo. It does lack straight line speed, but it has better grip and handling than the GT-R '17. Better gas milage too. On fuel map 3 you can run the whole race with no pit. The only quibble, if I had to have one, would be stability on heavy breaking. She does not like steering input under heavy breaking at all. Make sure you break in a straight line with this one if you detune it for use at Tokyo. I drifted turn one about half the time as a result and lost my line in the S leading to turn 2-3 a couple of times until I found the sweet spot. In the end, no more greasy pig and 5-7 second win with clean race bonus.

Between your tune and the rigid FFB this car is intense to drive. Very fun.

It’s stuff like that, which blows me away. Almost makes other GT7 shortcomings forgettable..

David

Excellent tune and what an awesome car!! Ty for this build!!

Jonathan Davis

The led clock, on the dashboard, has the correct time
