Ford Escort RS Cosworth '92 - 4WD - 600PP - Sport Medium Tires - Nordschleife - 1.55

5 STARS CAR SETUP *****
Wide car
Rims "16 - Offset Wide
Front A - Side A - Rear St - Wing A

Superior 600PP on Nordschleife.

I purchased three versions of this car—one to keep stock because I love driving it as-is, and another to explore additional options later. This is a superior 600PP car on Nordschleife, outperforming most normal engine cars (though some Frankenstein SWAPs may be faster).

I don’t use racing brakes or pads; the stock brakes are sufficient, allowing me to allocate more power within the 600PP limit. Its overall performance earns it a 5-star rating, even though the handling is only "good"—it deserves the ***** label.

I’ve also tested a Tokyo setup, and while it’s decent for now but only lap 2:10 , good time but not enough to publish it. There is a lot others that can do a better job for Tokyo.

Enjoy your drive . ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

Lots of fun with Sport tires. Drift is natural. Terrific little monster. I did Road Atlanta. Went off track once or twice and still won by a fair margin

I think it’s possible to achieve the same balance with the original wing. I’ll give it a try and see what I can come up with.

Sucks that we can’t tune the downforce of that iconic rear wing lol

Before up date i can say Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 '70. After 1.55 it's not anymore.. Perhaps this Toyota celica. https://www.patreon.com/posts/toyota-celica-gt-121210279?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

For reference what is your absolute best 1.55 600PP car on the ring without a swap or any buggy cars?

Ken Mueller

Amazing car! Thanks

I’ve tried setting up this car for Tokyo, and while it’s an excellent car, it really needs more power to be competitive in this event. We might just have to wait for a future SWAP to unlock its full potential here.

Laurent Bouis

It's a wide car and it's setted with the offset wide . Only not the width rim , it didn't change anything to the PP value , so no change at all when "ON" or "OFF".

Laurent Bouis

Any reason for not going with wide wheels on this one?

Ken Mueller

There is a Sophy AI race available on Nurb 24H.😉

Laurent Bouis

Fantastic tune! Wow, 7:06 on the 'Ring with this is a great time. I thought I was pretty fast but I'm nowhere near that time. Too bad there isn't a 600pp race on the 'Ring that this car could run in. But I DID run it in the 600pp event at Grand Valley and it's great fun there. That's one of my favorite races in the game because (for me) it's pretty competitive with the AI

Could be meta 700 car for Bathurst..

David

Sometime 4WD road cars are too tight and using the Body rigidity option just take out some more rotation and limit weight transfer. In this case when you add it you'll lose 0.40PP only , almost nothing . Up to you, it'll not do so much difference.

Laurent Bouis

why no Body Rigidity on this one? thanks for thr quick tune <3

Windows96 aka the real Kekpin

This tune is tremendous fun.

I owned one of these in real life. This brings back so many memories . At the time it was an amazing car 👍🏻

Bk

Ran it Maxxed at 700 on Bathurst, awesome sticky drive

I wasn't a huge fan of the last Cosworth they gave us but I'm excited to check this out after reading your high praise!

Acegamer

You work fast! Nice one, look forward to trying this tune.
