Suzuki Cappuccini '91 - FR - 567 PP (Max power)- Sport Soft Tires - Tokyo Rain - SWAP - 1.55

4 STARS CAR SETUP ****
ENGINE SWAP: 13B-REW-RX-7 (Mazda RX-7 FD)
Wide body car.
Rims size 13" - Rim Width Wide - Offset Wide
Front B - Side B - Rear St - Wing Custom
This is a SWAP monster with a huge PP bug—arguably the most famous and feared Frankenstein swap engine under Tokyo’s rainy skies. With its lightweight build and immense power (586HP & 1523 lbs/690 kg), it laps consistently at 1:57 with one stop for tires and gas.
Be sure to check your braking points, especially at the end of straights and before the last turn. During bends, avoid staying in high RPMs—shifting earlier is better to maintain control. Wheel spin can catch you off guard, especially over smooth bumps. Stick to the fast line, flow with the car, and everything will be just fine!
Enjoy your drive ><((((((°>°°°°°°

Any chance you could do a 400pp of this one Maestro?

Really tested what I have said 😂 it’s really actually possible to win with this setup but with Race Soft tyres front damper stiffer roll bars stiffer and little more camber in 800pp world GT Championship against AI hard difficulty even if I have to say I had made many retry!

Thanks Praiano this is so cool! It’s like having a gr.3 car against standard 550 pp cars 😂

Just for grins I took it out to Special Stage Route X. It maxed out at 241 with no changes to the settings. Unfortunately, it didn't turn a 1:57 at Tokyo. I may need to fire the driver.

This car is excellent. I stupidly tried it with racing soft thinking it would be better but no. Lesson learned 😂

Yes , i did the Jeep with the swap engine but it's not so fun to drive . I'll try again looking another setup option.

You’re amazing

I build this exact build but the engine is 554 hp and 7874 ram. It is the same way on my RX-7 Spirit R Type A 2002 with the same engine setup.

Although I won the race by 20+ my lap times are still off from the under 2 minutes that you are running at. My best 2:06.000

This is a great setup. Wondering with medium sports you could do no pit-stop on Tokyo 600?

Yes they do. Only racing tires are totally slick and can't be used on wet. Unstable ? Not so much for a 580 hp on a very light car and a low downforce level.

Do the sports soft work in the rain? I still find the car a bit unstable

Nice , this is a superior performant car for sure for an easy win. The best way to be fast on this event is to work your driving line and respect the braking points. Slow in fast out. It's a very good semi-wet track to better your skills . Have a good drive.

In 500 hours of this game, I have never completed the Tokyo 600pp race (best was 2nd). Having tried so many setups, and never actually completed a race using those dumb wall runner cars...this car was my first..1st. Not only that, I was first within the 2nd lap...as I smashed into every wall learning the car. Those last 6 laps were heaven though...you really get into a rhythm with this car, especially in VR. Most fun I've ever had "grinding." Thanks so much for this build, crazy fun.

Racing slicks on wet roads aren't great for grip.
racing tires wear out much too quickly in the tunnel, plus the PP used for racing tires means less PP for everything else

Why not using Racing tires? Is Racing Hard already over 600PP?
Is Suzuki V6 ESCUDO still faster overall because of less pit stops?
