Porsche 959 '87 - 4WD - 650PP - Sport Soft Tires - Porsche Cup / All Track - 1.55

4 STARS CAR SETUP ****

Rims 19"

Front A - Wing A

Perfect for the Porsche Cup, this is one of the fastest Porsches for this event, with performance on par with the 911 '22.

I reverted to the original 40/60 weight distribution for a more enjoyable and dynamic driving experience. It’s been thoroughly tested and approved on most of the tracks in this championship.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°°

😁 Yes, I’ve already bought and uninstalled it, doing everything all over again... Setting up cars is definitely an expensive activity. 😉 I’ve been trying for a month now to save up for the old Mercedes Formula car, but it’s so hard to reach 12,000,000 credits and resist spending along the way!

Hi Praiano, I have this car with your old tune with stage 1,2,3 weight reductions and rigidity. New body costs 2.4 Mil. Expensive car to waste! Maybe you could attempt 650/700pp builds that incorporate these body mods?

CustomX

I loved this tune. It finally drives beautifully with no torque steering. But I did need to buy a fresh car for it. Well worth it though. Thank you Maestro

If you increase power while keeping the same tire compound, it becomes much harder to transfer the power to the road through the contact patch. This is especially evident in Gran Turismo, where the physics model makes the transition from grip to a loss of grip during wheel spin very sudden and difficult to manage.

Why is it so super shimmy and slippery after breaking when upping the PP a bit? What can I do about it? Is it just drivable on those lower PPs?

Toni Trz

Yes you're right , this is the exact sensation at the wheel. First laps was strange but after this i could find a way to drive it fast ...

Laurent Bouis

Finally got round to test it out. It’s very fast. Is it meant to have so much torque steering at the front? Feels like I’m driving my Mini IRL. Still fun and fast, just not what I was expecting but easy to get used to with a few laps

Car was a lot of fun to drive, especially in the rain. Carrazza is about 10 mph faster on the last straightaway. Wonder if I should bump top gear up a little?

JCHammer

I just noticed on the Tokyo tune rims are 17” and on this it’s 19”. Is that correct since it’s the same car? I just finished the Porsche cup and the feedback when turning wheel felt strange like wheels hitting fenders. After reading these comments I realized they were set to wide on mine.

JCHammer

also random question when are carbon ceramic brakes worth it?

XristosEK9

No , it seems that on this car wide rims don't bring any change . Even more it take out some tenth of PP.

Laurent Bouis

its perfect but no wide rims?

XristosEK9

No yet.

Laurent Bouis

Thanks. I'll be trying this out later. Have you tested a 700pp setup on sports softs yet?

SPECI4L

Thank you! Can’t wait to try it
