Ford Mustang Boss 429 '69 - FR - 600PP - Sport Soft Tires - Tokyo rain -1.55

5 STARS CAR SETUP ******

Wide body car.
Rims size 16" - Rim Width Wide - Offset Wide
Front B - Rear St - Wing A

This is one of the best options for the Tokyo rain event. I can lap at 2:00 with it, but you’ll likely cruise around 2:01 (in my hands). Be smooth—the tires can handle 6 laps, but avoid being too aggressive. It’s better to focus on finding the fastest racing line.

You can go for 6 laps straight or opt for 1 stop for gas and tires. Either way, it’s a perfect drive with plenty of grip and tons of driving pleasure. This car is truly fantastic.

I’ve added a small wing for aesthetics, complementing the beautiful livery by "Bobby-Vegas"—congratulations to him!

If you prefer, you can use a custom wing with the maximum downforce level of 200. Just add 38 kg of ballast to bring it back to 600PP, keeping all the other settings the same.

This race wasn't the last final setup i did. I think it' can be faster for total time. Clean race bonus.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

Great Tune! At the start I couldn't believe my eyes, I thought I was flying 😄 I had to be careful not to collide. Fun to drive, thx 😊

The Boss is back in Legend dealership and I've just given it an outing on Tokyo. What a car! My fastest non swap, so stable and predictable. A lovely drive @praiano, thank you.

Today in Tokyo I won easily with this car, by far the best car brought on the circuit, I put TCs at 1 it loses something but it slides less. yesterday I was doing the weekly race in Suzuka, and while I was there, I said to myself I'll try the GT3, I'll take the car and strangely I take the Toyota FT-1 FGT (GR3) 1.54, by a little but I won with its tuning, I was in heaven, the GT3 is the last series that I have to complete, when he has time he manages to bring it to 1.55, or that's fine, thanks for his work, have a good day.

Capelan52

Yes i think so.

Laurent Bouis

Is this car only available in the "used Cars" car lot? TY

Meilleure sensation de conduite , pas loin ou égale a´la capuccino.

Laurent Bouis

Meilleure que la Cappucino Frankestein ?

The setup is working very well on SWAP Voodoo engine but there is no PP bug on it. You'll have to race it on Sport Hard to be performant , 482 hp 2560 lbs. It's not as fast of course but it's still 2:08 2:09. For Nordschleife using Medium tires. I'll publish a 700PP for it only.

Laurent Bouis

Swap version coming or will this tune work with it?

V8Hilux

I’m curious, what is your second best car?

DreadLord

My top money making car, and you just made it better. It’s faster, smoother, and for some reason gets slightly better gas mileage. Love it!

DreadLord

Probably my top two Tokyo cars and that engine sound is one of the best in the game. Forgot what car I was driving a couple times but that 700 lb of torque quickly reminded me with the wheel spin.

Luke

There’s a PP bug with this car. You need to install exactly the same engine parts—nothing more—otherwise, you won’t be able to lower the PP.

Laurent Bouis

Easy win in Tokyo with this car. Drive easy to save fuel and tyres, bearing in mind that the AI does around 2:07/2:09. I pitted on lap 7 for tyres and juice. Then it was time to chase that illusive 2:01. Maybe one day! Thank you very much for a fantastic ride. Abraço 👌

Piloto 956

I keep going over 600pp without doing any engine mods. What am I doing incorrectly

raffaele rutigliano

Brutal. I love it.

Ian Clark

Go to -Library - In the search window you digit "Tokyo" You'll see around 30 cars for this event.

This tune has earned me more credits than any other tune I've used. It's an absolute beast on Tokyo Rain. It consistently laps around 2:03-2:06 in my hands and is a joy to drive. Thank you for sharing this! I'm curious though, as I want to round out my garage, do you have any other tunes that can do Tokyo Rain with a faster lap time?

DreadLord

I've tried that tune and I was already in the first 4-5 Laps 1.2 seconds faster than with my fastest car. Well done. Obrigado. Saludos de Republica Dominicana&Suiza

Angelo Fernandez

Fantastic! You aren’t kidding about that six lap limit. I’ve done a few runs and sometimes I run out of meat on the rears right at the end of six laps.

Rudy Sanchez

Sweet prancing pony of Castiglione, that's a fast Mustang! I don't think I've ever broken into the 2:07's before this car, but I got into the 2:04s with this first time out of the stable. Also first muscle car I've beaten the rain race in (not for lack of trying).
