Performant on any kind of track, the Audi R8 4.2 is fantastic: smooth, balanced, and powerful. You’ll never experience any unpleasant surprises when putting down the power.
The balance is neutral for an MR car, but the front grip is superior, especially at high speeds, like when passing through the double left-hander “Pouhon.” It’s an amazing, grippy experience. Brakes are not so good , don't jump on 100% brakes , brake earlier with a 80% pressure and use trail brake technique , the car work a lot better this way.
I’ll be working on a 600PP setup using the original engine very soon.
You can also race at Le Mans with it using Fuel Mode 5 or 6, achieving competitive lap times of around 4 minutes. The excellent traction provided by this incredible engine will be a huge advantage, especially during wet laps on the track.
