They typically work well when you stay close to the original setup—for example, switching between medium, soft, or hard tires. It’s easy to adapt within that range. However, it becomes more challenging when changing the tire category, such as going from Sport Soft tires to Racing Hard tires. Slick tires significantly alter weight transfer, and in such cases, you may need a completely different approach—and definitely stiffer springs.
