I initially found the original car's setup to be poorly designed and unsuitable for players. However, after making adjustments, I transformed it into a highly competitive and enjoyable car.
By balancing downforce levels (lowering front and rear equally for better top speed while maintaining high downforce for grip), I improved lap times on 90% of tracks.
The car now excels in traction out of slow and medium corners and performs well on technical tracks, matching the pace of top Gr1 cars.
I recommend avoiding high RPM shifts in the first three gears to maximize traction. The car is now steady, balanced, and a pleasure to drive.

No reasons. The higher PP race is a 950pp. So this setup is maxed , above any pp limit in this game. The setup can be used with softer compound, no problem.

2025-02-06 00:25:52 +0000 UTCIt was one of the easier difficulties, for sure. I initially used RM tires, but later found that RS tires gave me the most acceleration during the early part of the race. Because of this, I was able to build up a wide enough lead (slightly over 1 second) to where I could afford to go through the turns even slower late in the race. I was able to balance that out by being aggressive in the straightaways to maintain my lead.

2025-02-02 21:20:48 +0000 UTCI just tried RS tires myself along with the tune in the comments you posted. The right front has the most wear but 100% okay for a 15-laps HSR race. EDIT: finally won with hard AI. Min downforce gives pretty good straight speed, and the gearbox you designed cleverly took the slipstream into account and can obtain insanely fast speed. However, the min downforce also made the S-shape turns slower. Also, lack of downforce made the last turn flat out a bit hard. I had to lift the throttle slightly. Nevertheless, I successfully defended the AI to prevent overtake during S turns and won 1st by 0.2 seconds

2025-02-02 19:41:15 +0000 UTCThat is good to know! I was about to try your HSR specific tune with RS tires, then this will save me 10mins before I realize the tires will wear out. I do hear from other people that they succeeded with RS tires though. Not sure how they managed to save the tires. Looking at your LSD settings, I don't think it is the LSD that is dragging the rear right tire. EDIT: see the followup comment!

2025-02-02 00:36:03 +0000 UTCTry the default downforce settings at 1200/1600. You can take turn 2 without braking. I just lift and coast at the breaking point, then turn hard left and downshift into 5th. You stay sucked to the ground and exit right up against the wall without touching. This setup had me taking turn 2 and the esses much slower, and lifting in the final corner.

2025-02-01 20:29:28 +0000 UTCFor HSR event , you need to set downforce 900 1400 / Racing MEDIUM Tires and set the gearbox to 400 kmh = 248 mph in last gear. 1st 2410 / 183 2d 2005 / 220 3d 1703 / 259 4th 1459 / 303 5th 1263 / 349 6th 1150 / 400 kmh Final 4.055 Important is to keep the stream everytime you can , if the 1st pack of cars is more than 1 second , you'll never reach it. Stop the race and Retry. Very hard to win this race. The win is under half second to second position.
