The only difference with this setup is that there’s no PP limit for this event, unlike my previous 950PP setup.
Because of this, I was able to lower the rear downforce to create a new balance with better turn-in by transferring more grip to the front. However, this also made the car more unstable and prone to spinning. To compensate, I lowered the rear ride height, reducing the rake to improve rear stability.
As for the gearbox, it was an initial request by another member. I didn’t notice a significant difference compared to the stock gearbox, but this one is tuned to provide better safety and performance when exiting slow and medium-speed corners.
You still need to be cautious when accelerating after the apex, especially when passing over kerbs. Using throttle control, proper driving inputs, or enabling traction control can help if you need more stability in those moments.
