Mazda Roadster NR-A (ND) '22 - FR - 550PP - Sport Hard Tires - Nordschleife - 1.54

5 STARS CAR SETUP *****

Wide Body
-Size "17 - Rim Width Wide - Offset Wide
-Front B - Side A - Rear B - Wing Custom

A top-tier 550PP car for the Nordschleife, lapping 7:33 easily in my hands. I worked to eliminate the car’s horrible understeer and the rare wheel spin for this range of PP out of slow corners in 1st or 2nd gear by adding some rear ballast.

The result is a very steady and safe car with excellent precision at the wheel.

It’s versatile and can be used on any track, like Tsukuba or Brands Hatch, with a shorter gear setup. However, the current gearbox is tuned specifically for the Nordschleife.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

Yes, this car does need an update for 1.56, but you can’t race it on Tsukuba with a long gearbox. The current setup is tuned for longer tracks. On a short track like Tsukuba, you just need to shorten the gearbox by adjusting the final gear until the last gear matches the car's top speed at the end of the straight. Simple tweak, big difference!

I tried this car for the Clubman Cup Tsukuba challenge and was disappointed with its acceleration and performance. You start out the race in 5th position, and it’s so slow accelerating that I was passed by several cars and fell to 11th position before I could even get up to speed. I then did the race with your BMW 3.0 CSL ‘71 tune which was amazing - much faster and a great experience.

I can’t check it because I used this car to build the SWAP afterward. I have another car, but it’s equipped with the Bore-Up modification along with all the engine tuning upgrades. Anyway, you can adjust the rear downforce and add 1 or 2 kg of ballast to fine-tune the PP. It'll work the same.

Really enjoyed tossing this one around the Nordschleife yesterday.. It's going to be a minute before I get anywhere close to 7:33, but I really appreciate you always giving us new, solid cars to drive.

Super fast and grippy for SH tyres. Thank you 🙏

Frustratingly I can only get the PP to 550.25, same power, weight, body parts , aero, tuning parts, wheel size checked and double checked. What could be wrong

I just looked at the engine swap 1.75M. But worth it if the 787B performs as I hope. Could be a sleeping giant!!!

Jason LFC

You can set a shorter gearbox without messing with any individual gear. Just set a longer " FINAL" setting till you last gear fit on the track you want to race. Increase FINAL = shorter gearbox / Decrease Final = longer gearbox. It'll keep the same space between gears , just closer and shorter.

Laurent Bouis

I've bought the engine already but i didn't test it yet. Soon.

Laurent Bouis

Thanks for this new tune! Would you share a recommended kmh per gear to setup for shorter tracks?

Ken Mueller

nice, though we definitely need the 787B SWAP version for this lil rocket!
