Abarth 595 SS '70 - RR - 460PP - Comfort Medium & Soft Tires - Alsace Mission - SWAP - 1.54

5 STARS CAR SETUP *****

Egine SWAP : K20C1-Civic-'20 (Honda Civic Type R '20)
Wide body
Rims 14" - Rim Width Wide - Offset Wide
Front A - Wing A

Exceptional performance for the Alsace Mission. With a mixed compound of tires (no need to change them during the race), the car is very well balanced and easy to handle. Just avoid overdriving it—maintain a consistent, fast pace, respect your braking points, and everything will go smoothly.

Strategy:

I didn’t use Engine Tuning parts to preserve fuel efficiency. There’s room to install them, but they don’t significantly improve lap times and will increase fuel consumption—important for a 9-lap stint. To manage fuel, you’ll need to short-shift throughout the race.

If you choose to install Engine Tuning parts, you can use all the available options except for the High Compression Pistons. It’s up to you.

This setup makes it easy to complete a 26-lap race, putting you near the top of the rankings. A very skilled driver might even reach 27 laps.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

undrivable

This is an extremely fast car for the pp level. I personally like to tune it so that I can also run it in 400pp races. By adding bore up, stroke up, engine balance tuning, and polish ports it decreases the pp to 397pp and adds just a bit of extra power. I also created a 350pp tune by using the 397pp tune and switching the front tires to comfort hard and rear tires to comfort medium, setting the front downforce to 68, and setting anti-lag to weak. It's an extremely fast 350pp class car.

DreadLord

Are you using the exact settings—same mixed tires, power, and other adjustments? This is a special track setup designed specifically for the Alsace mission, and it works very well there.

Laurent Bouis

What am I missing with this tune? This is NOT easy to handle. It's always bottoming out, it refuses to turn into any corner. How the hell do you drive this thing? I'm literally flying straight out of an easy corner while going 60 km/h. Did they nerf it recently or is there some hidden secret to actually driving this?

Jokūbas

Sure . Need the mix componds to keep the same balance.

Laurent Bouis

This was a great tune to help me beat the 350PP weekly challenge. I downtuned this to 350PP by setting tires to CH front and CM rear, setting front downforce to 29, setting the brake/brakepads to normal, and setting the turbo to medium (which for me matches up the turbo to the power band that I am typically in). At 350PP it's an absolute beast. BTW, I came to realize how important setting the front and rear tires differently is to the stability of this car. If you put the same tires on the front and back the car gets way to squirrely.

DreadLord

This beast is able to win versus 600 pp CPU cars in custom race. What a weapon!

Roberto Amorini

This was fun, but definitely a little squirrelly :). Got 26 laps no problem. Spun out too many times to get 27 :) Need to give it another try and be a little less aggressive.

Jeff Morris

That was it... I was sure I had already applied it! Thanks

Jeff Morris

Yes, it is. This is the best option. Strangely, increasing the power doesn’t make the car any faster—it just increases fuel consumption.

Laurent Bouis

Is this not 405.72pp as in your setting screen?

Dave C

Did you apply the wide body option ?

Laurent Bouis

This is a brilliant tune. Struggled in the past with Alsace mission but this got me a lap ahead of the field and 25 laps in the hour with a controller and average skills. Thanks @praiano63!

Michael Roper

This looks like it could be fun. Two questions for you about this tune: 1) What do you achieve by setting the top speed up at 500 before adjusting the gears 2) My tune is coming up at 402.62pp with all the same settings. All the power (base performance) stats are the same, but the acceleration performance is slightly worse. Could this be due to the wheels. I tried a couple wheels but they didn't have the "offset wide" option. I'm wondering if this could be the difference

Up left of the screen , The Juman comedy , Alsace 1h endurance Series.

Laurent Bouis

Where do I go to do this mission? Seems fun
