A Nostalgic Drive – My First Real-Life Car

This was my first car in real life, though mine was a '78 model. It didn’t have an air intake on the hood, just a vent, and the interior had less plastic. Everything else was identical—even the plate number! (You never forget your first plate.)

In GT7, this 450PP version has more power—because a 70HP car would feel too slow—but my real car was fantastic and quick, especially in city traffic.

Unfortunately, I totaled it as a young driver. I missed a turn, went straight, and stopped on a big stone after locking the brakes. Without ABS and lacking experience, I couldn’t regain grip mid-corner by releasing the brakes. A hard lesson learned, but I’ll always remember that car fondly.

Enjoy oyur drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°

Ty for sharing this! Luck of you, buddy!

This setup can be adjusted for 400pp and used for a very difficult challenge @ Kyoto Driving Park for the European Sunday Cup 400 Race on Hard difficulty at 400pp. I. kept the CS Tyres but removed the turbo and then adjusted final drive for max possible speed. Most corners can be taken flat out. Thanks for sharing your memories Priano. Big fan of the classics and <650pp.

Too much power on the SWAP engine. Wheel spin turn it horrible to drive.

Hi Praiano, is a swap tune possible for this?...with out it spinning out in every gear lol

Gally

I love when Praiano has a story about the car to accompany the tune.

Rudy Sanchez

I love these personal anecdotes! Keep up your awesome work!

Almost the Same here! This was my 2nd car bought with my own money. First one was of course a VW Käfer, as usual here in Germany. Thanks for the tune!
