Renault Clio V6 24V '00 - MR - 550PP - Sport Hard Tires - Nordschleife - 1.50

4 STARS CAR SETUP ****

Wide Car.

Rims 17" - rims width wide - Offset wide

Front A - Side St - Wing B

This is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive (MR) car, and it behaves exactly as you’d expect from such a setup. It requires a bit of technical finesse, especially since it doesn’t offer much grip on harder compound tires. Precision is key here, but the car handles predictably and reliably—it’s stable, with no major issues.

I prefer driving in cockpit view, which feels particularly immersive. The wide, clean field of vision enhances performance, making it easier to hit those perfect lines.

While the top speed isn't the car’s strongest suit, the real strength lies in its handling. In the corners, it’s incredibly responsive, providing superior control through the bends. It’s a car that rewards skill, and I absolutely love driving it.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

I also got "550.17". The same goes for rim settings. GT7 sometimes has results like this.

I put 17' rims and same body parts, I will take a look tomorrow maybe I forgotten to remove the carbon propellor shaft

Another great build! I really appreciate when you do some of these not so popular cars! They are fun to drive!

Jonathan Davis

Perhaps because of the size's rims.

Laurent Bouis

with the same tune I had 550,17 PP, so I moved the ballast to 33 instead 35 for a final result at 549,90

You can try to match speed each gear. Same result.

Laurent Bouis

I’m curious, with different engine mods can I use the same gear ratios? Or should I be matching the maximum speed of each gear?

Andrew T

Thank you Praiano I appreciate it! By chance could I request a tune for a vehicle 🙂

Luis Mendoza

Good idea. I like the way you write originally too of course. English can be contradictive and difficult.

You're right , it's the best option, manual transmission allow you to find more grip entering a turn, downshifting and trail braking help to shift weight over the front . Also you can use the ideal shifting moment, optimum RPM and power out a turn. Auto transmission is a kind of passive mode .

Laurent Bouis

I'm testing the "ChatGPT" , i write my horrible english text in the ChatGPT window first and this is the result. Not so bad.

Laurent Bouis

Well said on the description, thanks for the tune

Hello Praiano am I able to use a Manual Transmission instead of a racing transmission on these tunes you have listed. Asking because i am Now using a shifter instead of paddles. Thank you

Luis Mendoza

yea that would be nice to see an engine swap for it XD

After a quick test the setup support the maxed car with Racing Soft. You can add a few more front downforce , it's fast but would need more power of course. You'll have to wait a future Alpine SWAP engine .....

Laurent Bouis

This setup can reach around 660PP when maxed using Racing hard , it's not performant at 600PP . I think the max car support racing tires yes.

Laurent Bouis

Absolutely love this car, glad you made a tune for it, is the car viable at higher pp like 600-700, obviously not with the same tune as the increased power would mess with the gearbox?
