Three girl sketches! The first is Ivy in a pair of patterned stockings, then Judy Hopps pulling a Bomber Nose-art pin-up pose, and then the unicorn from my little side project. Her armor's not yet fully locked down. I think I want it more stereotypically 'girly' a little, as much as that sort of thing makes me uncomfortable in the modern age!
I've actually already started inking the Judy. Not sure what I'll do with the other two, yet.
Also, in case anyone is curious, I tend to mostly use blue for my base sketches. It's psychologically easier to scrap a blue sketch line than a black one, supposedly, and for me, it's easier to tell what I've yet to get inked, or whatever. Photoshop has some easy tools for pulling blue out of a picture without having to erase it by hand, too.
I start with a non-repro blue Col-erase pencil, which is honestly hard to see. Then I move to either the Graphgear pencil that's in these photos, or an indigo blue col-erase pencil. Sometimes both. Ivy's an example of both, while the other two are just the graphgear .5 (I also use a second graphgear .5 with black lead for pencil work.)
