I agree that "The code of honor stuff" is vague and pretty ill-defined but I do think if I had to define Goku's honor code as something, it's basically this: I'm allowed to do whatever it takes to win because I'm saving the world from clearly bad people, the other guys are already doing bad things and thus them winning for a bad purpose is 'dirty'. Make of it what you will but I think that seems to be his philosophy, especially since he often lets villains power up to their maximum even in dire situations. That being said, While I do agree that Pan's damage could be more visually shown she clearly has some bruise marks on her face that weren't there before. I do think it's unreasonable to believe that San xing long DIDN'T brutally beat her, I mean he's willing to use her as a shield and he also uses Si Xing Long as a shield even after he "Disproves" Goku's boast so it wasn't just about proving Goku couldn't kill him in 5 seconds. Although I do agree that in a fight to the death all bets are off and it's kind of dumb to expect otherwise.
