I will admit in all seriousness that there really is no excuse for THIS many contrivances. I mean honestly I think this far out-does Cell's hail-mary near-death power up. I could even give it a pass and just say that the Number 17 in hell is just "a robotic version of Number 17" and is similar enough that he can rip a hole with their Ki clashing but everything else is too much of a stretch. lol
