Basically two girls look the exact same except their hair color and the royal princess has a birthmark on her shoulder while the pauper doesn't. The princess is kidnapped to stop the arranged marriage by the villain, who leaves a fake letter that says the princess ran away to stop the arranged marriage. The princess's best friend get the pauper girl to impersonate the princess, and while the switch is happening, the king falls in love with the princess and vice versa, while the princess is in love with her best friend. A very dramatic love square pretty much.
