Various Sketches

Here we have the various sketches I've done! Pretty sure they're in order and hoo boy it's been a journey!

Vido first: This is from the list of sketches I've offered to ya'll. I'd recently discovered a thin line style I wanted to try out after Azro's thing! It looked great but I could do better with it I think!

Tur: Kept with the style. I think here is where I tried out using three layers of refinement for the lines!

Red: Uuuuuugggghhhhhhhh... here's where I hit a time wall. This took too long. 3 days for a sketch. Lemme tell ya that does stuff to your brain. AND IT LOOKS GREAT! But I needed something faster. I needed to rid myself of expectations. It would come to me eventually. I need to do daily warm-ups. Little things I'm allowed to fuck around with because it's not work, it's play. That was a hard concept for me to visuallize since, for so long, I've only done art as work. But doing warm-ups, I'm allowed to just draw what I like. Turns out, it has the added benefit of teaching me to trust my artistic instincts more rather than constantly reaching at the edge of my understanding to make something good!

Tiberious: I tried two layers of refinement only using one layer so I could keep my workflow speedy while also keeping that sketchy quality. I was fresh off my draw 100 upper bodies study, and I wanted to test how much I internalized. I think I did a pretty good job! This was viable!

Searing: Decided to fuck around a little with perspective on top of my newfound abilities with the upper body!

Tagg: Wanted to tease a friend I hadn't talked to in years. uvu Art doesn't have to have this deep meaning! It can just be to make you or your friends laugh! God I'd forgotten that!

Costa: More friend teasing! I have big friends. uvu

Tozier (Magic): Drawing him like one of my French girls..... I don't have any French girls. (This might go over some heads. "Draw me like one of your French girls" was a meme taken from
the 1997 film, Titanic, and became one of the first memes on the modern iteration of the internet. I'm old!)

Gariyuu: I got to talk to Gar while drawing this! He's a sweetheart!

Me: I passed 10k on Bluesky! Huzzah!

Marlowe: More perspective stuff! Fun work!

Rumble: I asked him weiner or no weiner. He said to surprise him, so I chose butt... In HINDsight ( :) ) I guess it's not that surprising that I'd draw ass.

Me: Accidentally drew myself muscley! Whoops!

Sandalf: Some people brush their teeth in the morning, other's choose mouthwash.

Slushdog: He likes sitting on his friends! Hey... that's a thing that I am!
