Tanukidad Timelapse
Added 2024-01-22 19:18:25 +0000 UTCEarly Access baby! I hope you all enjoy this one! It features two very sweet boys from a very sweet comic series, Sweet Leaves. I got to talk to the creator in person, Tanukidad, at MFF and we had a wonderful conversation on what inspired the characters, Colson and Sebastian, and in what ways they love each other! It was very productive because he's such an open book and a sweetheart to boot.
This commission really helped me in two ways I think! It boosted my ego because I managed to finish it in 3 days, and it really helped me with this block I have with doodling! The leaves were very conducive to a doodling style while still looking great! I also didn't do any referencing for the plants, except for the one above the characters! They were all supposed to be azaleas, but they wound up looking more like hibiscus in the end, but it didn't matter, because it does still look pretty and the specific flowers had no meaning and it was just a great experience for me! <3
