2024-04-24 17:49:54 +0000 UTCUnless someone already mentioned it, but I think there was a legal reason why they weren't allowed to show Jason very much. In fact, they couldn't even use the title FRIDAY THE 13TH. This was the first non-Paramount Pictures Jason movie because they eventually wanted Jason and Freddy to fight because the audience back then was wanting it. The legal battles with Jason are still going on today.
