They do have verified accounts now, yes, and Dominion's 77% is from verified tickets purchased, but that isn't the only way to rate a movie. You can just make an account and review any movie you want. So, while verified viewers for Dominion is 77%, the percentage for all viewers is 67%. And while the verified viewers vote count has 11,000 votes/reviews, the total number of votes/reviews - including non-verified - is over 25,000.

2024-01-15 01:22:49 +0000 UTCThis movie is on Rotten Tomatoes, the Critic rating is 29% rotten the Fan score is 77% fresh [and on newer movies only or since like 2015] the fan rating is made only by fans who are verified to have bought a ticket to see the movie. Both Ratings are earned, critics are looking at things that the casual fan doesn't, and we as fans are just looking to have a good time at the movies, and 77% of the fans who saw this liked the movie, the other 23% did not which is ok too films hit us all in different ways. there is no right or wrong answer.
