My follow up film is Midway- has 3 actors that J has seen at least once on the channel. Glen Ford - Superman the movie as john Kent. James Colubarn - Young Guns, The older bad guy in Mavrick, and the voice of the crab-like bad guy in Monsters Inc. and Charlton Heston - The old rancher in Tombstone, the Spy boss with the Eye patch in True Lies. and Ben Hur as Ben Hur. [ He also played Moses in The Ten Commandments.] it also features Henry Fonda, and Robert Mechum both A list stars in the 60's & 70's All in all the film will have a Stacked cast. Plus the music is by John Williams the same guy who did Star wars.

I know this film is a little slow pace but the goal was to be as accurate to history and what lead up to the attack on Pearl Harbor and the mistakes that happened. I think this film had 2 directors 1 for the American side and 1 for Japan. Part of the Issue with the length of this film is this is the version of the film released in Japan, the American/Theatrical cut of the film is about 15 minutes shorter. it cuts out that scene in the middle with the cooks talking about the international date line. that scene will throw off the sync of anyone watching the American version.

Oh, don’t worry. I (Blank) am the epitome of a Godzilla fanatic. Plenty of good kaiju stuff coming soon. 😁

The actor J thought might be in police academy or naked gun is the actor who played the Older prisoner who hung himself in Shawshank redemption I believe.

I would love you to watch Gojira. If you can get past the "guy in a suit" filming it's an amazing movie

Something to keep in mind going forward on older World war 2 films- those from the 40's -70's some of use actual combat films from the war, especially those that are based on the war in the Pacific that use the Navy or aircraft. you may be seeing footage from the gun camera on board a fighter firing tracer ammo into another plane and see that plane catch fire or a ship explode. My November pick is about the next and maybe most important battle of the war against Japan following Pearl Harbor. Does use real footage some of it where possible is from the actual battle.
