I love your explanation. You are 100% correct! Thank you for opening yourself up and being so vulnerable. Watching your Chanel and listening to you really does make me feel like I’m spending time with a dear friend. Please keep doing what you’re doing. I will keep sending love and good wishes your way. I’m so glad that I found you on YouTube!

2024-05-04 20:29:03 +0000 UTCI love listening to your talks. I agree 100% with what you are saying. Feelings and the internet are explosive.. People will say things on internet that they would never say to your face. it is cowardly. WE all have the right to feel the way we feel. That's how we grow.

2023-11-14 22:49:32 +0000 UTCOh one thing that irks the hell outta me is when you tell them something personally tragic you went thru, and they say ‘I know how you feel’. Like, eff off!!! I don’t even know exactly how I feel cuz it’s volatile by the hour.

2023-10-14 17:01:58 +0000 UTCI haven't watched Philadelphia yet so I'm not aware of these comments and I have no clue what the movie is about but I don't like when people question others intelligence based on where they are from.

2023-10-13 23:54:42 +0000 UTCFor Thanksgiving, you should watch Dutch. It's all about the holiday and it's hilarious. It's got the dad from Married with Children and he is brilliant in it.

2023-10-13 23:48:41 +0000 UTCYou believe in “the golden rule”, which is what more people should follow. My dad is actually writing a book on this topic. Haters and bullies come in all shapes and sizes and so can their victims. I’m a straight white male with an upper middle class family, and I was picked on and bullied by everyone in the neighborhood and a lot in school too. Rich, poor, black, white, male, female, they all picked on me. It’s something I haven’t forgotten, but I refuse to let it define me. You’re a good dude. And your mother sounds like a saint. BTW, where do you get your t-shirts? There’s a lot of them I’d like to get.

2023-10-13 23:10:37 +0000 UTCLove you J!!! I enjoyed watching Philadelphia with you and I agree with everything you said. I don't waste my time with fake people or those who see which way the wind is blowing and go along. You are 100% you and unapologetic and I love that. The world needs more people like you. Thank you for being you and not changing to placate others. Much love to Mama J (she did amazing raising you!), Blank and the copilots.

2023-10-13 16:29:51 +0000 UTCI can't imagine anyone having any sort of issue with you. You're so funny, warm, insightful, and I REALLY look forward to seeing the notification that you are posting something new! I love how sweet you are with your babies and I HOPE you don't let some as*holes upset you! ❤❤❤❤❤

2023-10-13 12:59:42 +0000 UTCI haven't watched the video, just going off a glance at the comments, I know what it is like to be bullied, I was bullied all through my school days just because no one liked me. I also try to support the channel all i can, even when it is a movie I don't like I will try to sometimes give it a click. There are some where i cannot support it. I am a Christian and I believe what the bible says, Romans chp 1 KJV , Rom 8:2, John 3:16, John 14:6- so there are things I cannot support or say its okay. But no one should be run over or mistreated even if we disagree on some things. You can't have Christ in your heart and have hate for people - you can love people even if you don't support what they do or say. I won't say it's okay if the bible says it is not. I recommend for anyone interested look up on YT the testimony of john lee clary its just over 1 hr long, a former kkk member who met a black preacher named Wade watts if i remember right, who refused to hate him back. Johnny Lee left the kkk turned some stuff over to the fbi, became a preacher, I think baptized one of Rev. Watts's daughters and preached his funeral after Rev Watts passed away. I can't tell the story the way he did, but its very inspiring about a kid taught to hate that turned into love in part be cause Watts refused to hate him back.

2023-10-13 12:32:59 +0000 UTCMost people know only how to bully and hate just to make themselves feel better. I myself have a speech impairment so I truly understand where you are coming from with everything you said in this video. I rather be a honest friend that speaks my mind than a liar friend that trifles. No one deserves to be treated like they are not smart or different in this life. But you have a good heart, funny, and are a friend also family to us. You and Blank have a Good Friday the 13th!!!!

2023-10-13 10:49:32 +0000 UTCI'm not even 15 minutes in, and my blood is boiling over these bullying stories. I completely understand trying to speak using an economy of words, so as not to draw attention. I am so angry to hear that foolish, angry people hurl accusations at you for the way you react to movies. We all have different life experiences, so we all have unique views on things around us. My stomach is sick hearing about the poor man with AIDS in your town, and how he was treated. Stories like those make me lose all hope for humanity... but then I listen to these recorded thoughts that you share, or I watch your reactions, and I realize there still are genuine caring people out there. Thank you for sharing what you've been through. Maybe someone listening will get a wakeup call they didn't realize they needed regarding the importance of treating others with respect. I have to miss Friday and Saturday viewings, but I hope you have fun!

2023-10-13 08:09:43 +0000 UTCI know what you mean about little small towns brother. I waited until I was 50 years old before I moved back to my little old hometown that I grew up in and I still don't know if I waited long enough! I have to say it's not too bad though. Actually there's a lot of LGBTQ representation you see the flags and bumper stickers and stuff but there's about five or six trucks in town and if you see the weather decorated you know that we're not completely out of the woods! But we all get along together seems like. There's some hooping and hollering here and there but nobody's been hurt so that's one thing. I've always believed and given everybody a break no matter who they are until they prove me wrong. I've been proven wrong quite a few times but that doesn't make me give up! I think I'm going to have to grab me one of those beanies brother! Definitely go get the EOM brand 🙂 Give Drogo and Rommie a scratch behind the ear for me! Peace!

2023-10-13 05:01:41 +0000 UTCYour Mother is truly a diamond. That was one of the most beautiful stories I have heard. <3

2023-10-13 04:28:42 +0000 UTCThank you so much for sharing that story about your childhood. We're very close in age, and it brings back memories of what it was like when AIDS came to the forefront in the general media. People who think you're not intelligent because of the way you speak, need to get out more. People have all sorts of accents, dialects, patois. I'm a French Acadian Canadian (think French Louisiana/cajun language). People who aren't familiar with our kind of French, think we either are or sound stupid/country. If the people doubting your intelligence you would actually listen to the content of your words, instead of desperately trying to show that THEY're intelligent, They would have no doubt about you at all. The reality is, most people are looking to be outraged and have the "moral high ground" on any given subject. I'm 100% with you when it comes to "Whataboutism" like if someone says: "I lost my job, I feel like everything is going wrong in my life". Random person: What about the war in Ukraine!? They have it worst." Let people experience whatever they are going through. I think you guys put out great positivity in the world. This is your channel, you choose what you want to watch. You react in an earnest, genuine way. It doesn't feel performative at all. The last thing I would want is for you guys to start censoring yourselves or change the kind of movies you guys want to watch/edit to try to appease every single person. Don't like a movie choice? Don't watch. Just because someone doesn't like "A" doesn't mean that no one gets to watch/read/hear "A". People need to realize, not every opinion needs to be expressed. (I do realize the irony of me expressing my opinion here and I have never, ever written so much in a public forum :D )

2023-10-13 02:56:58 +0000 UTCthe same ppl who will bash & shame others for their genuine point of view, are the same ones who claim to have the biggest, most tolerant minds. what ppl need to keep in mind is that everyone comes from different places & have totally different experiences. we grew up in a place where we saw very few worldly situations… but those “people” would have zero clue how to handle the type of stuff that goes down in these hills on the daily. its crazy to me that ppl think that just because you’re from a different place with less experiences, it has to equal ignorance. different, not less.

2023-10-13 02:02:54 +0000 UTCAlways love these thought vids Brother J. We all know you are a good person J, however, it takes a good person to raise a good person and Mama Whistle is definitely a good person. :) Also, it is a scientifically proven fact that people who are naturally funny (like you are) have high intelligence. So whoever thought you were dumb is so wrong! It takes a brain with lots of connections to be naturally funny, this is why the best comedians are so quick witted (like Robin Williams) and this is a sign of intelligence. Oh, I wanted to ask...is that braided wristband you wear from The Hero Company? I love their mission, they find co-pilots for veterans with ptsd. Everyone deserves a co-pilot. :) I can understand why you are only doing a half month of JLoween this year. Scary films are not for everyone. I will admit, even though I love scary films I prefer the ones mostly made in the 80s that had a mix of scary/funny/campy so there is that comedy relief from the scary. Like Lost Boys, American Werewolf in London, Gremlins, etc. These films are less stressful and more folks like them in lieu of the more gory/scary/insane ones.

2023-10-13 01:55:01 +0000 UTCA lot of people are willfully ignorant. A lot of people can be accidentally ignorant. I can usually forgive the latter.

2023-10-13 01:42:55 +0000 UTCI am so offended that any commenter would ever question your intelligence. One of the key elements that makes you the greatest reactor ever is the fact that you always follow along with the plot and more importantly always grasp the messages and intentions of the film you're watching. Your commentary isn't just hilarious and heartfelt, it's also illuminating and always points to a legitimate understanding of the movie's deeper themes. This is unfortunately a dying trait in these sad days of growing media illiteracy and your possession of said trait instantly speaks to both your intelligence and emotional awareness. Anyone who'd snidely scorn your intellect online and imply naivety or ignorance on your part is an absolute imbecile. I'm a lifelong cinema obsessive and I absolutely respect and appreciate your insight into whatever film you're watching. It's why I come here. It's also why I LOVE your Mulholland Drive reaction because we fans of the film were all JUST AS BAFFLED by that crazy ending on first viewing as you were lol. In my experience I've found that a lot of ignorant people tend to project their own ignorance onto others. People who disrespect you for making some benign misinterpretation during a reaction are the REAL morons.
