Yeah, Asian elephants can be downright sociable with us punt bipeds. African elephants know who's in charge and it's not us.

T.J. Gengler

they have to blur the movie because of copyright laws. the trademark is clear at the beginning so you can sync up your own copy of the film on another device.

Asian are smaller especially the ears. Just looking at the ears can tell you.

William Bilske

if you ever see elephants in a zoo or something like that where you can get close to them or even Ride one those are most likely Asian Elephants they are smaller and a lot more Docial than the ones from africa.

African Crocodiles actively hunt people for food, they will watch where a village comes down to a river for water and the wait. They kill a lot of people every year.

Bwana the name pockets kept using for john wayne is Swahili for Father. Baba is the Zulu equivalent. I have read a lot of the alan Quatermain books [ who is an inspiration for the character of Indiana jones. the King Solomons Mines novel. I have learned a lot more about the Zulus than i thought i ever would. alan in the books is a big game hunter so not for anyone who has issues with hunting.

this is a romantic/adventure/comedy, the plot is really the romance between Shawn and Dallas.

just now trying to watch the reaction to the movie, Hatari, one of my favorites as a child and know it almost by heart. And I first want to tell you you’re one of the fastest people I subscribe to in the only person I have chosen through patron with that said, I’m also on a very fixated come. But this is not fussing or getting into or coming at you, but I just wanna state my problem. I have macular degeneration degeneration in both eyes, so would you show as a filter is how I see things most of the time, and on top of not having any audio which my hearing has taken a lot a place of my site, I can’t keep up with a movie I know well. And it’s hard to see your reaction to something that we cannot see like I said just food for thought. I do love watching you you’re on my TV probably 75% of the day, and now I’m find it difficult to watch the channel. I get frustrated that I don’t know what’s going on maybe with a movie I’ve never seen. I know you did it for a reason I just not caught the video. Why yet. And I am sending something to Drogo, so don’t try to buy him anything until you receive my package. It might not work for you, but you can always take it back and get something else for your babies. Love you much Sharon.

There are still parts of the world where people live just like you see in this movie the same way they did 150+ years ago.

Anyone who has ever been to a zoo this is how a lot of them got there, and if we go see them we have as much a part of it. IMO an animal that winds up in a Responsible ZOO just won the lottery. They don’t go hungry or thirsty because of weather, vet care, and no predators trying to eat them. It is pretty well proven that an animal in a zoo will live healthier and longer than one in the wild. the Rhino esp, since they are heavily targeted by poachers for their horns, to ship to Asia for use in traditional herbal treatments and such. I think there are some species of rhinos where the only ones left are in zoos. Zoos are also the only way most of us will get to appreciate and learn about these animals in person.

The scene with the elephant that was destroying crops was killed made me think. We in the US& Canada in a lot of ways we can have limited view when it comes to wild life. There are still parts of the world where a lot of people live where wildlife is an everyday threat to survival not just destroying crops but in a predatory nature. There are places in china where villagers have to be on the alert for wolves and bears. Attacks on people, pets and live stock happen in parts of this country; my last Dog was killed by an animal a few years ago. Its unfortunate but nessicery something for things like that to happen, it just makes me thankful that I was born where we don’t have to worry about for the most part though there are places where you have to be careful with pets even in some suburbs where cyotes , mountain lions have killed pets etc.

Hatari means "danger" in Swahili. According to director Howard Hawks, all the animal captures in the picture were performed by the actual actors; no stuntmen or animal handlers were substituted onscreen. The rhino really did escape, and the actors really did have to recapture it - and Hawks included the sequence for its realism. According to Howard Hawks, John Wayne admitted being scared during some of the action scenes, and "had the feeling with every swerve that the car was going to overturn as he hung on for dear life, out in the open with only a seat belt for support, motor roaring, body jarring every which-way, animals kicking dirt and rocks and the thunder of hundreds of hooves increasing the din in his ears." Wayne felt it was unpredictable with the terrain's hidden holes and obstacles which could have been disastrous.
